| I painted this 10 foot square pediatric exam room freehand, in one week. for the VNA Health Center. Thanks to ARTSCAP www.artscap.org/ for the referral. | |

set painted by scenic artists Marilyn Muller ( "Kathy, you paint like a "maniac"- I'd crew with you again ANYTIME!") and Kathy Polenberg for ReVision Theatre. Set design by Quinn Stone http://stonedogstudios.net/index.html

“ReVisual: The Collaborative Work of ReVision Theatre”
featuring the works of designers, photographers, scenic painters, and public artists who have contributed to the overall design of ReVision Theatre’s theatrical productions. The exhibit is an inside look of the process that takes place before the opening of a show.

June 19 through July 19 at Market in the Middle, 516 Cookman Avenue, Asbury Park.
Artists whose work will be on display include:
Kip Marsh, Sarita Fellows, Russell Schramm, Kathy Polenberg, Jason Sisino, and Chris Hartsgrove and feature designs and work from Hair, Scrooge in Rouge, Hello, Dolly!, and Kingdom.
The public is invited to the opening on June 19 at 7 pm which will also be a fundraiser for ReVision Theatre. All donations will go to ReVision Theatre and its programs.
The opening is also in conjunction with Collide-A-Scope, a monthly arts event, sponsored by ArtsCAP, the Arts Coalition of Asbury Park.
“This is a very exciting opportunity for the community to come and see the “process art” work that happens before the actors take center stage,” says Dawn von Suskil, Artistic Coordinator of “ReVisual” and ReVision Theatre.“The work gives voice to each artist’s unique style. The theatre is a collaborative art form, and this exhibit will really show how all visions come together.”
This is a mural I volunteered to donate (and lead a painting "happening" with a troop of local Brownies)
to the community garden at 7th avenue in Long Branch- a project of We're In Cahoots
http://www.wereincahoots.com/gallery/ initiated and tended to by Lisa Bagwell with the
Friendship Train Foundation and the cooperation of the city of Long Branch.

THURSDAY, September 18: Give 'em-the-chair art

Toys.Calm will host "Sweet CHAIR-ity," an auction of one-of-a-kind chair art.
Toys.Calm is the work of two young Fair Haven women: Erin Puck, a 21-year-old student at Villanova and brain cancer survivor who formed the nonprofit to address the anxieties of children who are hospitalized for long stints. With 15-year-old Sarah Frank, a sophomore at Rumson-Fair Haven Regional, she formed Sweet Charity this year to make sure no birthday or other milestone in a hospitalized teen's life goes unrecognized and that the pediatric floors have DVDs, books, and games appropriate for teenagers.
The event will be held at McLoones Riverside in Sea Bright.
